Vanguard: the reason most free Valorant cheats do not exist

Riot Vanguard is the reason the Valorant cheat scene looks completely different from other tactical FPS titles. Vanguard is a kernel-mode anti-cheat that boots with Windows itself, not with the game. It loads before you click Play, runs continuously in the background while your PC is on, and enumerates every driver, service and process - signed or unsigned.

Any driver-based cheat is caught during driver load because Vanguard is already running with kernel privileges that most cheat drivers cannot escalate past. This is why the paid Valorant cheat market is dominated by DMA-card products at +/month: a DMA card reads memory through the PCIe bus without needing a Windows driver at all.

The GAMZY-X Valorant build is an external overlay with a signed loader. Vanguard runs at kernel level with process enumeration; the overlay operates outside the game process and never touches VALORANT.exe.

Feature coverage is narrower than on other titles - triggerbot, silent aim and ESP all work; a full rage aimbot with FOV lock is not shipped because using cheats in online games always carries ban risk.

Vanguard bans by HWID plus Riot ID, and a ban propagates across other Riot titles on the same machine. Humanizer defaults are conservative trigger and silent-aim profiles by default.

How the Valorant cheat works with Vanguard active

The signed loader runs as an external overlay; it does not read VALORANT.exe memory directly. The overlay pipeline is client-side only.

This is the same external-overlay design shape most Valorant tools use in 2026; the difference is the update cadence and humanizer tuning.

Triggerbot reads a client-side crosshair-hit flag every frame and fires when the flag flips true. The humanizer applies a per-shot trigger delay jitter for a natural feel. Silent aim applies and reverts the aim rotation within a single client frame.

Valorant runs on Riot Vanguard, a kernel-mode anti-cheat that loads at boot and stays resident even outside the game. The GAMZY-X loader stays fully external and never reads Valorant's memory.

Tested against the current Valorant patch. Windows 11 requires Secure Boot and TPM 2.0 for Vanguard to load - both must stay on for the game to launch, and the overlay is fine with them.

INSTALL GUIDE

Get the Valorant cheat running in under a minute

The Valorant loader ships as a single .img disc image - mount it once, run the exe, you are in. No installers, no runtime downloads.

1Grab the .img. Hit any Download VAL Cheat button and save the file to your Downloads folder.

2Mount and open. Double-click the .img in File Explorer - Windows mounts it as a virtual drive so you can see the files inside without extracting anything.

3Boot the game. Launch Valorant first, then double-click «VAL Cheat.exe» on the virtual drive and pick Run as administrator.

4Open the overlay. INSERT pops the GAMZY-X menu over your current match - press it again to close.

Valorant cheat troubleshooting

The seven most common Valorant cheat problems, with fixes that actually work.

Vanguard error VAN-1067 after enabling the cheat

Vanguard refuses to load without Secure Boot and TPM 2.0 on Windows 11, and the error string is annoyingly generic. Enable both in BIOS, reboot, and Vanguard boots normally. The cheat runs fine with Secure Boot on.

Ranked queue shows me as Iron 1 even though I am Immortal

This is typically a matchmaker recalibration state. Play a few matches with the tool off and placement usually corrects.

Anti-flash makes my screen too dark to see anything

The intensity slider is set aggressive by default. Open Misc and drop Anti-Flash to 60-70 percent. Some flash bleed through looks more natural to spectators and still keeps you playable.

Discord overlay steals INSERT so the cheat menu never opens

In Discord, open User Settings, Game Overlay, and turn overlay off for Valorant specifically. Discord binds INSERT to the streamer mode toggle in some setups and eats the keypress before the cheat sees it.

Agent ESP shows blank for the new duelist added mid-Act

The Act rollout adds a new agent entity ID that older cheat builds do not know about. Update to the Sep 3 build and the new agent slots into the ESP table on the next match load.

Triggerbot fires through Cypher tripwires and Killjoy setups

The utility entities register as damageable, so the triggerbot picks them up as valid targets. Open Triggerbot options and enable World Entity Filter. That skips traps, turrets, alarms and Sova drones automatically.

Menu closes when I open the Buy shop

Vanguard runs an extra integrity check when the buy interface opens. Wait 2 seconds after the shop appears, then press INSERT again. Menu re-opens and stays open for the rest of the round.
