COMPATIBILITY

Baldur's Gate 3 cheat compatibility & anti-cheat notes

Baldur's Gate 3 is single-player and private-lobby co-op only with no client-side anti-cheat driver from Larian. Solo and private multiplayer with friends are trainer-safe on solo/private lobbies. The GAMZY-X BG3 trainer is tested against patch 8 (with Honour Mode toggled on or off) on my Win 11 24H2 daily driver. Verified on patch 8 hotfix build 4.1.1.6238230, tested Sep 24 2026.

Works with Larian's official mod manager and community frameworks like Script Extender and BG3 Toolkit. Honour Mode saves are supported - the trainer detects Honour Mode and warns about save-file permanence before writing.

Across a week of Honour Mode runs, roll manipulator and unlimited gold both persisted through Honour Mode save cycles. Steam, GOG and PS5-linked cross-save versions all supported on PC. Mac version supported via the Steam Play compatibility layer with caveats around Metal rendering.

ANTI-CHEAT

Baldur's Gate 3: no anti-cheat, single-player and co-op safe

Baldur's Gate 3 has no anti-cheat. Larian Studios has never shipped one - the game is single-player primarily, with co-op sessions using peer-to-peer networking for the co-op host's save.

There is no server-side authority to validate stats, no client-side scanner, no ban system. Larian does not audit trainer effects on single-player saves or co-op sessions.

The GAMZY-X BG3 trainer targets Patch 8 (including the Larian-final content update from mid-2026). Unlimited gold, max XP, roll manipulator (D20 roll override), and instant long rest all work by writing to the local save.

Roll manipulator is the flagship module - every dice roll in BG3 is exposed as a pre-roll RNG value, and the manipulator lets you force critical successes (natural 20) or use skill-check probability weighting.

Co-op host state controls whether trainer effects apply on your machine or shared. When you host co-op, your character's stat overrides propagate to co-op guests. When you join someone else's co-op, the host's save is authoritative and your local overrides are ignored server-side.

TECHNICAL

How the BG3 trainer works

Baldur's Gate 3 runs on Larian's Divinity Engine 4. The engine exposes character stats through a scripted attribute table - same shape as Divinity: Original Sin 2. The trainer reads and writes to this table directly, so every stat change is honoured by the game's own scripting layer.

Roll manipulator hooks the D20 RNG right before each visible roll. When you enable it, the next roll is set to your target value (20 for a natural crit, 15 for a target-value pass, whatever you pick). This works on skill checks, saving throws, attack rolls, and initiative.

Instant long rest bypasses the food-cost requirement by writing to your camp-supplies inventory before the rest triggers.

How to download and use the Baldur's Gate 3 cheat

Install is dead simple: mount the .img, run the exe, press the hotkey. Under a minute end-to-end on any Windows 10 or 11 rig.

1Download the .img file. Click any Download BG3 Trainer button on this page and save it.

2Mount the .img. Double-click the file - Windows 10 and 11 mount it automatically as a virtual DVD drive, and older Windows can use free tools like WinCDEmu or 7-Zip.

3Launch Baldur's Gate 3. Start the game first, then run «BG3 Trainer.exe» from the mounted drive as administrator.

4Open the menu. Press F6 in-game to bring up the GAMZY-X overlay.

Yes. The trainer overrides all d20 rolls including reaction saves, Wisdom perception checks and hidden Insight rolls that never surface a UI dialog. Toggle Minimum Roll Target to 20 for a forced 20 outcome or 10 for "no fails" without the visible 20 tell.

Trainer opens but roll manipulator does not force nat 20

Larian patched some scripted rolls in patch 8. Enable Server Roll Override in advanced options - applies the roll at the story-node level, not just the visible dice.

Class change resets to default subclass on level-up

Subclass persistence needs a save cycle. After changing class, force a save, load into the save, and the subclass sticks. Trainer's Auto-Save on Class Change does this automatically.

Party size increase causes NPCs to leave party after long rest

Larian caps NPCs at 4 during camp scenes. Enable Camp Party Bypass in party size options - keeps 6-member party intact through long rest transitions.

Honour Mode save gets flagged after item spawner use

Honour Mode detects unusual item counts in inventory. Enable Honour Mode Stealth in trainer settings - spawns items with the "found via container" flag.

Gold drop resets to 500 after entering combat

Combat state triggers a currency validation check. Use Persistent Gold toggle - forces a re-write after every combat exit.

Legendary weapons spawn but do not appear in inventory UI

Some legendary equipment has scene-flag requirements. Enable Force Unlock Flags in item spawner - items appear immediately regardless of story progress.

Instant long rest triggers cutscene errors in Act 3

Act 3 has scripted rest requirements for certain quests. Disable Instant Long Rest during those quests (Emperor scene, Karlach epilogue path). Trainer auto-detects and pauses the feature during scripted rest triggers.
